ProstRcision Treatment

ProstRcision was initially performed in 1979 by Dr. Frank Critz, founder of Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia (RCOG). This treatment is exclusively offered by the prostate cancer specialists of RCOG. Since the initial surgery a total of 11,000 men from all 50 states and over 40 countries in the world have journeyed to Georgia for prostate cancer surgery.

The radiotherapy prostate cancer treatment relies on two forms of radiation therapy, brachytherapy and external beam treatment, to destroy the cancer cells. The ProstRcision treatment uses a combination of pinpoint irradiation by seed implants and conforming beam irradiation to destroy the prostate from within. When the prostate is destroyed, the cancer is killed as well.

RCOG accepts most insurances and accepts Medicare assignment. Contact us to discuss insurance and financial options.

Highest Documented Prostate Cancer Cure Rates

The prostate cancer specialists of RCOG have the highest documented prostate cancer cure rates in the world. ProstRcision is the most successful proven prostate cancer treatment and the surgery currently has an 83 percent cure rate.

The 10 Year Mark

In the vast majority of cases if prostate cancer is going to grow back it will occur within 10 years. We only consider your prostate cancer to be cured when you have a PSA nadir of 0.2 ng/ml, 10 years after your treatment.

PSA Alert: ProstRcision.com Responds to New England Journal of Medicine PSA Test Studies

PSA testing for prostate cancer remains the most significant step according to ProstRcision.com and Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia in Atlanta. It is suggested each man and his loved ones educate themselves abut various screenings and prostate cancer treatments before deciding on a course of action.

ProstRcision versus da Vinci Radical Prostatectomy

If you knew you have only one chance to defeat prostate cancer, what would you do? Advances in robotic procedures have made prostate cancer surgery a less invasive process. This has come at a cost to long term cure rates for those men that have elected robotic prostate cancer surgeries such as a da Vinci Radical Prostatectomy.

When patients are most concerned with prostate cancer cure rates, they should consider prostate cancer treatment options from RCOG. The metro Atlanta prostate cancer doctors at RCOG operate the oldest and largest seed implant program for prostate cancer in the country.
